Key Ingredients

Cold-pressed, unrefined Cupuaçu butter forms the basis of Miracle Beauty. Cupuaçu butter is the butter for dehydrated, dry but also sensitive skin. It has anti-inflammatory and nourishing effects. Cupuaçu butter has been shown to soothe, nourish and protect the skin against water loss. Moisture is bound in the skin, the skin's lipid barrier (stratum corneum) is strengthened and the skin's natural collagen production is supported. The specialty of cold-pressed Cupuaçu butter is its unusually high water absorption capacity of approx. 240%. It is significantly higher than that of lanolin and makes Cupuaçu butter a highly moisturising component for vegan natural cosmetics.

Cocoa butter has a calming effect on irritated, rough and dry skin. It binds moisture in the skin and has a protective and softening effect.

Shea butter is rich in nutrients, vitamins A and E and antioxidants with soothing, smoothing and cell-regenerating properties. It penetrates deeply into the skin and is ideal for dry and barrier-damaged skin.

Cold-pressed Argan Oil has a very balanced composition of oleic acid, linoleic acid and palmitic acid as well as an exceptional proportion of schottenol and tocopherols (vitamin E). Schottenol showed clear cell-stimulating effects in various studies. In addition, Argan Oil supports the skin's functions and has a deeply nourishing effect.

The cold-pressed Prickly Pear Seed Oil is extremely rich in amino acids, vitamin K, essential fatty acids (more than 85%) and antioxidants. It neutralises free radicals and counteracts cell decay and improves skin longevity. The skin's elasticity is restored and the skin is supplied with sufficient moisture. 

Corn starch: The use of cosmetic corn starch delays the release of active ingredients, making them available to the skin as a depot over a longer period of time. This delay can increase the tolerability of products, as the active ingredients are released in small doses. It also prevents the ingredients from clumping together, regulates viscosity, absorbs fat and makes the skin feel smooth.

Cranberry seed oil: Due to its specific composition, cold-pressed Cranberry Seed Oil has a strong antioxidant and restructuring effect for dry, barrier-impaired and mature skin. Oily and blemished skin also benefits from its anti-inflammatory properties. The high α-tocotrienol content of cranberry seed oil and the oil's own mixture of antioxidants such as tocopherols and carotenoids in cranberry seed oil protect the skin's own lipids and cell membranes from environmentally induced oxidative processes. The oil is cold-pressed from seeds that would otherwise become a waste by-product in the juice industry.

Pomegranate seed extract: The rare punicic acid in pomegranate seed extract activates the cell metabolism and promotes cell renewal, which is significantly slower in mature skin. Pomegranate seed extract is rich in ellagic acid, which helps strengthen cell membranes. This leads to a slight thickening of the skin and counteracts fine lines, wrinkles and water loss.

HOW TO USE

Mornings and evenings, apply a pea size amount onto your fingertips and massage into clean, slightly damp skin, including the eye area.

You can apply the balm after your serum and moisturiser as a final step, in order to optimally "lock" the moisture in the skin.

Bonus: For very dry skin, mix a larger amount of balm with rose water and your moisturiser (e.g. Intensive Daycare Face Oil serum or cream) for an intensely nourishing face mask overnight.
